You are cordially invited to attend the Pulse Ontario Dance Conference which is returning to York University May 10 - 13, 2018. The Pulse bi-annual conference brings together secondary students and their teachers for an immersive experience in dance.
This year, Pulse will focus on both Indigenous and non-Indigenous dance forms and creative processes in dialogue. The students will enjoy a full day of dance workshops on the Friday and a site-specific creation experience on Saturday co-facilitated by Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists. Also on the Friday, the School of Arts, Media, Performance & Design will host a Lunch & Learn for Grade 10 and 11 students who may be interested in York University’s programs. Another key feature of the conference is the FreeFlow Teachers’ Symposium on the Saturday.
