This year we are pleased to offer an 8-day Hip Hop Summer Institute for dance educators
The institute will involve 2 hours of technique and 2 hours of theory per day, and will run from July 3rd-July 12th at Claude Watson School for the Arts, in Toronto. The institute will address the following topics taught by
top Hip Hop artists and educators in their field:
Dance Injury Prevention: Tony Ingram - Creator of B-Boy Science;
Hip Hop Fundamentals: Marcelino DaCosta - Founder of Ground Illusionz;
Hip Hop History: Dr. Mary Fogarty - Assistant Professor at York University;
Hip Hop Technique: Mariano Abarca - Founder of the International Street Dance Federation.
Dates: July 3-12, 10:00am-3:30pm. (2 1/2 hours - technique + 2-hours - theory)
Location: Claude Watson School of the Arts - 130 Doris Avenue, T.O.
Cost: $345 per participant (space is limited)
