Theatre Museum Canada Presents a Staged Reading of "OD On Paradise"

O.D. ON PARADISE

There will be a reading of the 1980s hit O.D. ON PARADISE at the Rivoli (344 Queen Street West) Sunday June 26 at 2pm. Admission $10. Written by Linda Griffiths and Patrick Brymer.

OD on PARADISE won 2 Dora Awards in 1983 and spawned a law suit between the Theatre Passe Muraille cast and THE TORONTO STAR. (The newspaper claimed that the cast were smoking marijuana on stage. They were in fact smoking strawberry tea.)

This is part of “PARADISE NOW”, a series of exhibitions, events, performances and concerts taking place at several Queen St West venues that is aimed at remedying collective cultural amnesia and culminating in a signpost exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (MOCCA).
