Drama Queensland: Shape 2019 Conference

Sarah Papoff, past President of CODE, attended the Australian conference and shares her experiences.

It was my privilege to attend and present at the regional State conference for Drama in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia as a travelling teacher on my four over five. I have long admired Drama Australia and its strong infrastructure in Drama Education. There is an Australian National Drama Curriculum and alongside the national drama subject association, there are also state associations. Drama Queensland definitely aligns with CODE as a strong provincial organization of full time educators who volunteer their time to support drama education.
