CODE board members and delegates descended upon the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope on Sunday, October 25th for CODE on the Road in Port Hope. Members participated in Drama and Dance workshops for all levels, with the day culminating in a tour of the historic Capitol Theatre. Some of the day's highlights included workshops "From Nothing to Stage: Devising Bold New Work in Ensemble" by Rob Kempson and "Fusion Confusion: Navigating Culturally Responsive and Relevant Pedagogy in Student Dance Composition" by Ruwani de Fonseka.
A huge thank you goes out to Central East Coordinators, Laz Geronikolos and John Castrounis, and the Artistic Director Rob Kempson and everyone at the Capitol Theatre for helping create a smooth day.
