Join us for an informational and engaging virtual workshop led by Young People’s Theatre – Canada’s largest and oldest professional theatre for young audiences.
In this workshop, teachers will not only learn about the performances and programs offered at YPT this season, but also ways to design meaningful, curriculum-connected field trips to the theatre for their students. Teachers will engage in thoughtful discussions and activities based from YPT’s study guides, workshops, tours, and more.

CODE is offering this workshop in partnership with OTF Connects Professional Learning Series. This workshop explores creative pedagogy used to create access to literacy and reading while engaging the whole human, drawing together the goals of the science of reading with words as building blocks for identity, equity, and access to critical literacy.
