Tous que nous pouvons sauver - Grounded in Space and Place - Drama Junior/Intermediate - Members Only

La vie secrète des plantes - Grounded in Space and Place - Dance Junior/Intermediate - Members Only

The Land Has It All - Grounded in Space and Place - Dance Junior - Members Only

Students will explore how their local environment serves them and their well-being as they acknowledge the land through dance. Students will develop their skills to produce and edit dance photographs. Throughout these lessons, students will explore their inspiration, develop their creativity through the elements of dance, and learn how their local environment can be the stage for their artistry.

If Trees Could Talk - Grounded in Space and Place - Drama/Dance Junior - Members Only

In this unit, learners explore the interrelationship between human activity and the environment around us. Through a series of dance and drama explorations, learners will deepen their understanding of the importance of building and fostering a reciprocal relationship with the land, ultimately developing a final performance piece that highlights the necessity of maintaining and caring for the trees among us.

Building a Community // Bâtir une communauté - Drama Junior - Public

This drama unit examines the role of community and government in dealing with challenges. Students work collaboratively to establish a fictional community and their roles within it. This resource was written for Grade 5; it is appropriate for Junior and Intermediate students to Grade 8.

Re-imaging our relationships to space/place/land - Senior Dance - Members Only

Grade 11 - Decolonization is work that belongs to all of us, everywhere. It asks us to think about our relationship with Indigenous lands that colonizers have unjustly claimed, re-defined and repurposed all over the world. It asks us to embrace responsibility by critically examining the past and the present, and taking personal action to make positive change. Lastly, decolonization is a path forward to creating systems which are just and equitable, addressing inequality through education, dialogue, communication, and action.

Sowing Seeds: Cultivating Change // Semer les graines : cultiver le changement - Drama/Dance Primary - Public

In this unit, students use creative, critical analysis, and scientific processes to explore and understand the interdependency of trees, humans, and living things in their environment. The story and struggle of Wangari Maathai, a Kenyan environmental activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner, is introduced to students as an example of how one individual can inspire ecological and sustainable change.
