On Saturday, May 30th, the International Drama/Theatre Educators Association (IDEA) held a webinar, entitled "Drama/Theatre Education in Action for Peace." The webinar was planned as part of UNESCO Culture and Arts Education Week 2026. There were two CODE presentations as part of the event. North East Coordinator, Michelle Gram Giessen, presented "Peaceful Resolutions Through Drama and Dance," a process drama utilizing the book What If Soldiers Fought with Pillows. North West Coordinator, Heather Newman, and Past President, Matthew Sheahan, co-presented their webinar, "Currents of Change," which was a condensed version of the workshop they delivered at Dream Forward, Steam Ahead in Milton in late March.
