Grade 9: Using improvisation, theatre creation, and devised theatre processes (endowment, tableau, etc.) to create and perform original stories; engaging in teambuilding and collaborative creation processes, learning about foundational drama concepts, and demonstrating their learning verbally, through performance, and in writing
Grade 10: Applying their understanding of role/character, relationship, time and place, perspective, and focus, to devise and perform original scenes and stories; engaging in the theatre creation processes (endowment, tableau, etc.) and articulate their understanding of foundational drama concepts in myriad ways; learning new strategies for sharpening their focus; practicing intentional listening and giving and receiving offers to their peers during improvised performance tasks, deepening their understanding of characterization and perspective
