Course Profiles

This course combines aspects of both ADB 3M and ATU 3M to create the Musical Theatre course. Ideally this course should reflect both drama and dance so that students can take a credit in either ADB 3M or ATU 3M depending of the strengths of the teacher or the needs of the student. This course provides an in-depth exploration of film and video. Students examine the evolution of Western drama from stage to screen and explore various filmmaking techniques and acting for the camera. They analyse scene structures, acting styles and genres of film. Students experiment with video production to develop a final presentation. Created in 2010 for 2009 Ontario Curriculum Support.

This course provides an in-depth exploration of performance technique. The focus will be on dance artistry with an emphasis on performing different choreographic styles for various types of audiences. Created in 2010 for 2009 Ontario Curriculum Support.
