This game can be played at the beginning of the school year or even when students are more familiar with each other.

Note: You may wish to introduce the concept of levels of sharing by teaching the difference between general, safe sharing and oversharing by giving examples, and reminding students that some topics are best kept for close friends or private conversations.

Instructions

  • Put students in pairs.
  • Students spend some time introducing themselves, sharing information with their partner that is important to them (e.g., special interests, hobbies, facts).
  • When sharing is complete, have the group make a circle.
  • Each student will introduce their partner, but they may not use words or props, only actions.
  • The group may then guess what information was being shared.
